Start with the mobile use case
We discuss who will use the app, which devices matter and what someone needs to do away from a desktop. Notifications, device features and offline behavior can affect the design. Those requirements help define the initial scope.
Build the connected product
Many mobile apps depend on accounts, APIs and stored data. The application and backend need a consistent approach to permissions, validation and failure handling. Where there is an existing system, we first establish what can be reused.
